Evil Dead Burn
Following the success of 2023’s “Evil Dead Rise,” two more “Evil Dead” films are in the works with one of them being directed by Sébastien Vaniček (“Vermines”). Today, Vaniček has revealed the film’s title which will be “Evil Dead Burn” and is due in cinemas 2026.

The filmmaker previously told Konbini that: “wanted to make a nasty film, a film that hurts, from which you come away tested.” Francis Galluppi (“The Last Stop in Yuma County”) is writing and directing the other film which is currently untitled. [Source: Instagram]

Red One
Amazon Prime Video is set to stream the Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans-led Christmas action film “Red One” from this Thursday, approximately 29 days after it opened theatrically. The film, which was originally intended exclusively for streaming, was a box-office bomb – grossing just $164 million worldwide on a $250 million budget. [Source: Amazon]

Heat 2
Filmmaker Michael Mann recently gave a special presentation at the Red Sea International Film Festival and spoke about the current status of his long-awaited sequel to “Heat”.

He says the script “has to be finished pretty soon” and he would do so “on the plane ride back to Los Angeles”. He also says his dream project about the Battle of Huế will likely come after that. [Source: Variety]

The Death of Bunny Munro
The first photo is out at Radio Times of “Doctor Who” and “House of the Dragon”star Matt Smith in “The Death of Bunny Munro” six-part series based on the 2009 Nick Cave novel.

Following his wife’s death by suicide, womanizing salesman Bunny attempts to take his shot at parenting on his own. He sets out on a road trip with his son across Southern England in order to deal with the sense of loss in his own way until he realizes the impact his lifestyle is having on his impressionable son.
