By Australian retailer EB Games has indicated that ‘The Lake House’ DLC for Remedy’s celebrated “Alan Wake 2” will arrive on October 22nd
‘The Lake House’ is set on the shores of Cauldron Lake and is a crossover with “Control” in much the way that game’s DLC crossed over with “Alan Wake”.
Set within the Federal Bureau of Control’s research station, the Lake House, a catastrophic event has occurred. Reckless experiments have caused reality to collide with the Dark Place.
Events in the DLC unfold parallel to the main game as you play FBC agent Kiran Estevez (Janina Gavankar). Players who own the Standard Edition of “Alan Wake 2” will need to upgrade to the Deluxe Edition to access the DLC.
Meanwhile, Team Asobi has confirmed that Astro Bot’s new speedrun levels will be released weekly beginning this Thursday (October 17th).
There are five levels in all unfurling between then and November 14th and titled “Building Speed,” “Let it Slide,” “Spring-loaded Run,” “Helium Heights,” and “Rising Heat”.
Each level contains two new special cameo bots to collect. All speed run levels will be free and the developers tease even more surprises are coming soon.
