Chaperone is not a love story. While the main character, a 29-year-old woman named Misha is mistaken for a teenager by a student and begins a relationship, this isn’t a romance. Writer/director Zoe Eisenberg has crafted something uniquely compelling with this indie gem. Kristy Strouse spoke with her about what started the idea, how it changed, and the process of bringing this character to the screen.
Film Inquiry would like to thank Zoe Eisenberg for taking the time to speak with us.
