By Netflix and Jellyfish Pictures have released the teaser trailer for “Wolf King,” an animated film adaptation of Curtis Jobling’s “Wereworld” book series.
Set in a world where mortal man is ruled over by the Werelords which includes creatures like werebears, werefoxes, weresharks. The story follows 16-year-old shepherd boy Drew Ferran.
The teenager finds his life is changed forever when he discovers he’s the last surviving Wolf King – making him ‘a monster in the eyes of many’.
This long-lost rightful heir to the throne must battle to abolish tyranny and reclaim the crown.
Tom Brass directs the project which is produced by Angelo Abela, Tim Compton, Curtis Jobling, and Barry Quinn.
The trailer released today came as part of the streaming service’s Geeked Week 2024 celebrations. The film itself will arrive sometime next year.
