By Developer 7Levels and Legendary have announced the narrative-driven action-adventure video game “Kong: Survivor Instinct”.
The 2.5D title (similar to the recent “Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown”) is coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S this fall with the story set shortly after the events of the 2021 movie “Godzilla vs. Kong”.
In the game. which is a combination of platforming and combat, you play a father desperately searching and navigating a shattered city in search of his missing daughter.
Players must confront Kong in all his glory, and encounter new and returning Titans and superspecies such as the first on-screen appearance of the terrifying Titan – Abaddon.
Legendary Entertainment’s VP of Interactive Media Sam Rappaport says in a statement: ”
“7Levels has brilliantly captured a unique corner of the Monsterverse through a gripping 2.5D action-adventure experience, weaving in a very human storyline. Experiencing the narrative through the eyes of a civilian, unaffiliated with any agencies, adds a layer of realism and emotional depth that we hope will resonate with our fans.”
The game arrives this Fall on the current generation of hardware.
