Emmy winners, “Schitt’s Creek” co-stars, and real life father-and-son Eugene Levy and Dan Levy are in contract negotiations to co-host this year’s Primetime Emmy Awards for ABC.

The pair have never hosted an awards show together, but did open the 26th SAG Awards in January 2020. This year’s Emmys will air on September 15th. [Source: TV Line]

Invincible
“Invincible” creator Robert Kirkman says he’s keen to do more of Prime Video’s animated “Invincible” series beyond the just ordered fourth season. Speaking with GamesRadar recently, he says:

“I mean there’s certainly a number that I feel would get me to the end of the comics – season 7, season 8ish is what I’m looking for, If we get in there and we’re still having a lot of fun and Prime Video still likes us, [it] could go even longer.”

English Teacher
FX has released the trailer for its workplace comedy “English Teacher” starring Brian Jordan Alvarez, Stephanie Koenig, Sean Patton, Enrico Colantoni, Carmen Christopher, Jordan Firstman, and Langston Kerman. The show premieres September 2nd.

The serie follows Evan Marquez, a high school teacher in Austin, Texas who often finds himself at the intersection of the personal, professional and political aspects of working at a high school. Evan wants to be a principled person but often runs into trouble because of it.

How to Die Alone
Hulu has released the trailer for its Natasha Rothwell-led comedy series “How to Die Alone” which premieres September 13th.

The series follows a neurotic airport employee who decides to start living her life after a near-death experience. Conrad Ricamora, KeiLyn Durrel Jones, Jocko Sims and Bashir Salahuddin co-star.

My Brilliant Friend
HBO has set a September 9th premiere date and released the teaser trailer for the fourth and final season of its hit Italian drama “My Brilliant Friend”. Based on Elena Ferrante’s 2015 novel “The Story of The Lost Child”.

The final run delves into the adult lives of Elena and Lila who find themselves entangled in the turmoil of Italy in the late 1980s, nearing the end of decades of political violence and social unrest.
