Tubi has premiered the first trailer for “Wynonna Earp: Vengeance,” a new 90-minute special set to air this Fall. The special arrives three years after the cult supernatural western series “Wynonna Earp” ended its four-season run.
Series creator Emily Andras returns as creator, writer, and executive producer alongside original cast members Melanie Scrofano (Wynonna Earp), Tim Rozon (Doc Holliday), Dominique Provost-Chalkley (Waverly Earp) and Katherine Barrell (Nicole Haught).
The series followed Wynonna, a spicy, hard-living, demon-slaying anti-heroine and great, great-granddaughter of famous lawman Wyatt Earp. Over the seasons she faces off against the reincarnated outlaws that Wyatt killed.
In the new special, Wynonna must return, once again, to her hometown of Purgatory to battle her greatest foe yet: a psychotic villainess hellbent on revenge against Wynonna… and everyone she loves.
The special will take place some time after the events at the end of the fourth season. In the interim, Doc and Wynonna have been on an adventure whilst Waverly and Nicole have been at home in Purgatory.
The special is produced by Seven24 Films in association with Cineflix Studios. Paolo Barzman directs.
