Built like brothers, forged into enemies as Paramount Animation releases the second official trailer for their upcoming animated film Transformers One. View trailer below.
Described as an “origin story” set on the planet Cybertron, the film will center on the relationship between Optimus Prime and Megatron going from brothers-in-arms to enemies.
I do have to say that I was more impressed with the preview of the film than the last one, which was a bit too lighthearted and comical. This one, which still has a few comedic bits, is a bit more serious and has more of an action gravitas towards the upcoming cartoon motion picture The trailer itself showcases more new footage from the feature, including more about the actual plot and showcasing the progressive divide between Optimus and Megatron that they movie will showcases. Plus, the preview shows off some impressive action scenes. I still have a but of reservation about the film, especially since the Transformers live-action movies have been a little bit “hit or miss” since they began back in 2007. Let’s hope that Transformers One seems to break the mold. Overall, I’m more interested in seeing this movie now than what I previously was….and that’s a good thing.
