Amazon Prime Video has announced a November 14th premiere date for the Aldis Hodge-led and produced crime thriller series “Cross”.
Aldis Hodge stars as detective and forensic psychologist Alex Cross from the best-selling James Patterson novels in the thriller series which hails from Paramount Television Studios and Skydance Television.
Creator, showrunner and executive producer Ben Watkins is behind the show which follows this uniquely capable character who digs into the psyches of killers and their victims. The aim? To identify – and ultimately capture – the murderers.
Isaiah Mustafa, Juanita Jennings, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd, Jennifer Wigmore, Eloise Mumford and Ryan Eggold co-star.
Patterson, Sam Ernst, Jim Dunn, Craig Siebels, Bill Robinson, Patrick Santa, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Bill Bost executive produce.
The series has already been renewed for a second season before it airs, with Wes Chatham, Matthew Lillard and Jeanine Mason joining the cast.
Morgan Freeman portrayed the Alex Cross character in the films “Kiss the Girls” in 1997 and “Along Came a Spider” in 2001 while Tyler Perry portrayed him in “Alex Cross” in 2012.
