By Ubisoft and Lucasfilm Games have premiered the story trailer for the highly anticipated “Star Wars Outlaws” video game from Ubisoft Massive.
The open-world title unfolds between the events of “The Empire Strikes Back” and “Return of the Jedi” and follows the story of Kay Vess, an emerging scoundrel in the galactic underworld.
Kay is accompanied by her alien companion Nyx and a trench coat-wearing BX-commando droid named ND-5 constructed by the Separatists during the Clone Wars.
Together they fight, steal, and outwit their way through the galaxy’s crime syndicates and will attempt one of the biggest heists the Outer Rim has ever seen in an effort to start a new life.
All planets and locations are being handcrafted here, no procedurally generated planets, and will include iconic locations that fans know.
Others are new locations like Toshara which is dubbed a ‘scoundrel fantasy’ world. In addition, Emilia Clarke’s Qi’ra from “Solo: A Star Wars Story” is confirmed to appear.
“Star Wars Outlaws” will release August 30th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Play up to 3 days early with Gold or Ultimate edition, which includes the base game and season pass.
