Three surprisingly well-known actors have joined the cast of new seasons of upcoming major genre shows.
First up, Lou Taylor Pucci (“Physical,” “You,’ “Evil Dead”) has scored a key role in Marvel Studios and Disney+ series “Daredevil: Born Again,” though specifics of his part are under wraps.
The new installment continues on from the events of the Netflix series and has been filming for a while now in New York City with a likely early 2025 airing planned.
Next, the one and only Frank Grillo has joined the cast of the second season of the Sylvester Stallone-led drama “Tulsa King” on the Paramount+ service.
Grillo is serving as a series regular on the second season as Bill Bevilaqua, a Kansas City mobster with interests in Tulsa. The new season has begun filming in Oklahoma and Atlanta which aims to launch this Fall.
Finally, “Sons of Anarchy” veteran Kim Coates has scored a series-regular role in the second season of “The Walking Dead: Dead City” for AMC.
Specifics of the role are under wraps, but it is said to be a major one in the new run. He joins regulars Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan, Željko Ivanek, Gaius Charles, Logan Kim, Lisa Emery and Mahina Napoleon. No date has been set for the new run yet.
