
Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Doomsday” doesn’t open for another eight months, and it’s expected that additional filming on the project will take place shortly in the UK.
But it may not need to be much if the newest reports hold any truth. Scooper MyTimeToShineH got the ball rolling, saying: “Marvel Studios held a private test screening of the pre-reshoots version of ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ for Kevin Feige and select staff, and they were very pleased with it, some even called it the best Marvel movie yet.”
Long-time industry veteran Robert Meyer Burnett then chimed in on that report on , seemingly adding that it was met with reactions on par with 2018’s “Avengers: Infinity War”.
This would be consistent with reports that the upcoming additional filming is mostly about adding scenes and elements as opposed to redoing any major sequences already shot by the Russo brothers.
A poster for the film has been spotted at CinemaCon, fuelling rumours that an early look at the film will take place at the exhibitor confab in Las Vegas during the Disney panel on Thursday.

“Avengers: Doomsday” is set to be released on December 18th 2027.
