A chilling new serial killer thriller is set to grip audiences this spring as Josh Duhamel takes on one of his darkest roles yet in Neglected.

Directed and co-written by David Lipper alongside Adam G. Levine, the film throws viewers into a relentless psychological nightmare. Duhamel plays Detective Shaw, a man ready to step into retirement — until a blood-soaked teenager named AJ, portrayed by Dylan Sprouse, walks into the precinct with a horrifying confession.

AJ claims he has buried Shaw’s teenage son alive.

What follows is a pulse-pounding race against time as Shaw is forced back into the world he tried to leave behind. With every passing minute, the oxygen in his son’s hidden grave runs out, pushing Shaw to retrace a trail of brutal murders while navigating a crumbling police force and a suspect who thrives on manipulation.

As the investigation unfolds, a devastating truth emerges – this isn’t random. It’s personal.

Co-starring Til Schweiger and Elena Sanchez, Neglected promises a tense, high-stakes thriller packed with twists and emotional intensity.

The film is arriving in theaters May 8, 2026.
