Monday’s Movie Memes…. And Moan

It’s been a four-day weekend here in the UK, so this Monday means, well, it’s like every other Monday, but some people have the day off. Let’s see, I did the joke about Jesus fighting the Easter Bunny. Well, today’s the day that the Easter Bunny came back and threw eggs at Jesus or something. Who knows what happened?

I hope you all had a lot of chocolate, but not too much; no one wants type 1 diabetes and to lose a foot. Did you watch anything that you need to moan about this Monday?

Not a moan, but I watched Pacific Rim again. I remember not really liking it, but I thought I would give it another shot. I recall not liking the ‘two pilot’ thing, and to be honest, it still annoyed me. However, it’s one of those movies that you cannot overthink. It’s a summer blockbuster; you need to leave your brain at the door and just have fun. This second time around, I kind of liked it.

I mean, it’s not exactly Shakespeare; it’s more like watching a toddler bashing their toys together for 2 hours. The visuals are stunning, and the characters are one-dimensional, but fun. I might revisit the second movie, as I don’t recall a thing about it. It’s one of those movies I’ll watch while I’m doing some work.
