Warner Bros. Pictures has premiered the first trailer for “The End of Oak Street” starring Ewan McGregor and Anne Hathaway.

Previously going by the title of “Flowervale Street,” the film begins when a mysterious cosmic event rips Oak Street from suburbia and transports its neighbourhood to someplace unknown.

The Platt family soon discovers that their very survival depends on them sticking together as they navigate their now unrecognisable surroundings.

Maisy Stella and Christian Convery co-star in the film, which has been written and directed by David Robert Mitchell (“It Follows,” “Under the Silver Lake”) and produced by J.J. Abrams, Hannah Minghella, Jon Cohen, David Robert Mitchell, Matt Jackson and Tommy Harper

The film’s production team includes director of photography Michael Gioulakis (“Split”), production designer Maya Shimoguchi (“The Batman”), editor John Axelrad (“Ad Astra”), composer Michael Giacchino (“The Incredibles”) and costume designer Erin Benach (“Drive”).

The film will be released worldwide on August 12th and in the U.S. on August 14th, with the title coming to IMAX screens.
