Showrunner Dan Perrault has shared some brief new details about the upcoming “Superman” spin-off series for HBO Max which puts the focus on Skyler Gisondo’s Jimmy Olsen.
He tells The Direct that the show’s title is still being finalised in the genre of “crime mystery comedy” and says: “there are tools from that toolkit we can apply here that haven’t really been seen in the superhero genre.”
The X-Files
Actress Gillian Anderson has praised Ryan Coogler’s script for “The X-Files” reboot. Appearing at Awesome Con in Washington, DC over the weekend, a clip is out on Tiktok of Anderson talking about it. She says the pilot script is “very good” and urges fans to “have an open mind and give it a chance, because it’s gonna be f—ing cool”.
Xbox + Netflix
Netflix and Microsoft have reportedly discussed a subscription bundle that would combine Netflix and Xbox Game Pass. Nothing has been confirmed but Xbox’s new chief Asha Sharma and Netflix co-CEO Greg Peters have been in discussions. [Source: The Information]
School Spirits
Paramount+ has renewed its series “School Spirits” for a fourth season and will resolve the cliffhanger left by the third season’s end earlier this month in which the malevolent spirit Van Heidt has inhabited one of the core gang’s parents. The series stars Peyton List, Milo Manheim, Kristian Venture, Spencer MacPherson, Kiara Pichardo and Sarah Yarkin. [Source: TV Line]

HBO Max has released a new poster for the upcoming third season of “Euphoria” with Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, Colman Domingo, Hunter Schafer
Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, and Maude Apatow all visible on the 1970s exploitation movie-style artwork. The very different looking third season launches on the cabler on April 12th.
