Disney has locked in ten release date placeholders, marking dates for films in 2028 and 2029 including at least one new Pixar film. In addition, three Marvel movies have also set dates.
None of the films for these dates have been revealed, only the dates themselves. Ten of these films are in 2029 with one of them almost certainly being “Coco 2” which has been earmarked for that release year.
The list of dates is as follows:
Untitled Disney Film #1 was July 28th 2028 and is now February 18th 2028
Untitled Marvel Film #1 dated on July 28th 2028
Untitled Disney Film #2 dated November 10th 2028
Untitled Disney Film #2 dated on Februry 16th 2029
Untitled Disney Film #3 dated on March 9th 2029
Untitled Marvel Film #2 dated on May 4th 2029
Untitled Disney Film #4 dated on May 25th 2029
Untitled Disney Animated Film dated on June 15th 2029
Untitled Marvel Film #3 dated on July 13th 2029
Untitled Disney Film #5 dated on August 3rd 2029
Untitled Disney Film #6 dated on October 5th 2029
Untitled Disney Film #7 dated on November 9th 2029
Untitled Pixar (like “Coco 2”) dated November 21st 2029
Not included here are titles that have already set dates such as an untitled Pixar film (likely “Ono Ghost Market”) for March 10th 2028, “Lilo & Stitch 2” for May 26th 2028, “Incredibles 3” for June 16th 2028, and should it go ahead – “Avatar 4” on December 21st 2029.
The studio has multiple major titles in 2027 including “Star Wars: Starfighter,” “Avengers: Secret Wars,” “Frozen III,” “The Simpsons Movie 2,” “Ice Age: Boiling Point,” “Gatto” and “Bluey: The Movie”.
