The epic conclusion is upon us as Warner Bros. Studios releases the official teaser trailer for highly anticipated sci-fi drama Dune: Part Three. View trailer below.
Based on Herber’s second Dune novel (Dun Messiah), Dune Part Three is a darker tale, following Paul Atreides (Chalamet), who is now emperor of the universe. In his new position, he struggles with keeping peace, while also dealing with a plot to destroy him and his rule.
Oh man…. I’ve been waiting for this trailer to drop for some time, and I can tell you that it didn’t disappoint. Not one bit. Many of you know that I am a big fan of Dune saga in both its literary form and cinematic form. This “first look” trailer shows off plenty of exciting footage from the upcoming feature, showcasing a more darker and heavier narrative than what was previously shown in the first two Dune movies. Of course, I’ve read Dune Messiah years ago, so I am well-versed in what this film will be about and how it will ultimately. Yet, what was showcased was incredible, especially with the cast and with Villeneuve’s grand vision. Overall, I overwhelmingly excited to see this movie and I can’t wait to see how Dune: Part Three shows some of the iconic scenes from Herbert’s novel.
