It’s Monday again, and you know what that means? Another crushing week of work, soul-crushing, energy-sapping, mind-numbing work. It could be worse; you could be working at Disney. That takes soul-crushing to a new level.

As with every Monday, we have your Monday Movie Memes below, which takes the edge off. By looking at them, you can fake a smile at your work colleagues.

But first, what do you need to moan about this Monday? What did you watch over the weekend that disappointed you, apart from the Oscars?

My moan for this week is Sweet Charity (1969). I don’t mind a good musical, and I had never seen it. The story is about a ‘dancehall’ girl who is looking for true love. I knew a few of the songs from it, but the overall movie is just wrong.

Now, don’t get me wrong, Shirley McClain is a great actress, I’m not taking anything away from her, but she was completely miscast in the movie. For me, the story was supposed to be about Sweet Charity finding a man. Maybe don’t cast a woman who looks like she’s hitting 60 soon.

And the rest of the women in the movie…not a looker among them. A guy sees a sign saying ‘Dance with beautiful women’ and goes inside to find one. They line up, like a cattle market, with women less attractive than cows. I can see why Sweet Charity would be a big movie for drag queens.

That’s my Monday moan, what do you need to moan about? And here are your memes…you’re welcome!
