Apple TV has unveiled the full trailer for its new series “Margo’s Got Money Troubles” starring Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer, Nick Offerman, Marcia Gay Harden, Greg Kinnear, Michael Angarano, Thaddea Graham, Rico Nasty and Nicole Kidman, who also executive produces.

The project hails from “Boston Legal” creator and “Big Little Lies” showrunner David E. Kelley who serves as showrunner, writer, and executive producer on this.

It marks his second teaming with Apple following their successful recent adaptation of Scott Turow’s novel “Presumed Innocent”.

This is an adaptation of Rufi Thorpe’s novel. The story is described as a “bold, heartwarming, and comedic” family drama that follows a recent college dropout and aspiring writer, Margo (Fanning), the daughter of an ex-Hooters waitress (Pfeiffer) and ex-pro wrestler (Offerman).

Margo, as she’s forced to make her way with a new baby, a mounting pile of bills and a dwindling amount of ways to pay them. So she turns to a popular social media platform to stay afloat.

Emmy Award-winner Dearbhla Walsh directs the pilot and serves as an executive producer. Additional directors include Kate Herron and Alice Seabright. The eight-episode series begins with a three-episode premiere on April 15th, followed by weekly episodes through May 20th.
