Nightwing
“Nightwing: Year One” co-writer Scott Beatty has endorsed a casting suggestion from a recent Instagram posting by “Heated Rivalry” star Hudson Williams holding up a copy of that comic’s 20th anniversary edition.
The photo is captioned with Williams asking James Gunn to grab a coffee with him, which fans have interpreted as Williams wanting to play Dick Grayson in Gunn & Peter Safran’s DC Universe.
Beatty has now urged Gunn to give Williams “active consideration” in the casting. While a Gunn-produced stop-motion animated “Dynamic Duo” film featuring Dick Grayson is on the way, it’s not officially part of the DCU. [Source: ScottBeatty]
