
Paramount Pictures has released a ‘final trailer’ for the upcoming “Scream 7,” the clip coming ahead of the film’s release on Friday.
Box-Office Theory indicates the movie is on track for a franchise best opening above the $44.5 million debut of “Scream VI”.
In the film, a new Ghostface killer emerges in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) has built a new life, her darkest fears are realised as her daughter (Isabel May) becomes the next target.
Determined to protect her family, Sidney must face the horrors of her past to put an end to the bloodshed once and for all.
Other returnees include Courteney Cox, Mason Gooding and Jasmin Savoy Brown, along with several actors whose characters died in the franchise in earlier entries, including David Arquette, Scott Foley, and Matthew Lillard.
Also onboard are Isabel May, Celeste O’Connor, Asa Germann, McKenna Grace, Sam Rechner, Anna Camp, Joel McHale, Mark Consuelos and Ethan Embry.
Original “Scream” writer Kevin Williamson directs the film from a screenplay by Kevin Williamson and Guy Busick and a story by James Vanderbilt & Guy Busick.
