With their “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” series closing out its first season this coming weekend, HBO is readying the promotional rollout of the third season of its other “Game of Thrones” spin-off series.

“House of Dragon” is returning in the Summer, the new run easily the show’s biggest to date and will cover four major events from the book.

The second-season finale sparked a wave of complaints that it was more of a trailer for next season than a proper finale, since it built up to a battle that ultimately wasn’t shown.

Now it will be handling that while also dealing with Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith), who received a vision while in Harrenhal and placed his hand on a weirwood tree.

As previously discussed, the show will finish with a fourth season while franchise creator George R.R. Martin and showrunner Ryan Condal

Other returning cast members for the new season include Emma D’Arcy as Rhaenyra, Olivia Cooke as Alicent, Rhys Ifans as Otto, Steve Toussaint as Corlys, Sonoya Mizuno as Mysaria, Fabien Frankel as Criston Cole, Harry Collett as Jace, Tom Glynn-Carney as Aegon II, Ewan Mitchell as Aemond, Bethany Antonia as Baela, Phoebe Campbell as Rhaena, Phia Saban as Helaena, Tom Taylor as Cregan Stark, Tom Bennett as Ulf White, and Freddie Fox as Ser Gwayne.
