By We finally get a cast voice.
Just ahead of the final weekend before launch, we have rolled out the announced demo update for Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown.
The update includes further fine-tuning based on the console demo, as well as the first voice-over content added to the demo mission. The narration is performed by Tom Paris (Robert Duncan McNeill). From a narrative standpoint, Tuvok is not yet part of this early mission and will be featured in later sections of the full game.
In addition, the demo update introduces an updated main menu featuring the original Star Trek: Voyager main theme.
Please note that the console demos have not received further updates yet. The newly added voice-over content and the original Star Trek: Voyager main theme are currently exclusive to the Steam demo. Updates for the console demos are planned for a later date.
To accompany the update, we have also released a new trailer titled “Personal Log: Tom Paris”, featuring Robert Duncan McNeill in his role as Tom Paris.
