“Get Out,” “Black Panther” and “Widows” star Daniel Kaluuya is in talks to star in A24’s sci-fi thriller “Hotel Hotel Hotel Hotel ” from filmmaker Michael Shanks (“Together”).
The story follows a man who wakes up trapped in a mysterious hotel room. All alone in a mind-bending prison, his only chance for escape is teamwork – with himself.
Shanks, who wrote the script that appeared on the Black List back in 2021, is also directing and producing.
Mike Cowap, Emma Fitzsimmons, Adam McKay and Todd Schulman also produce.
Kaluuya recently starred in Chris Rock’s “Misty Green” coming out later this year and is expected to reprise his role of Hobie Brown in Sony/Marvel’s “Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider Verse”.
Shanks’ official site indicates he’s also developing a feature film version of his 2013 short film “Time Trap” about an intergalactic traveler who becomes stranded on the long-abandoned Planet Earth.
