Apple, Skydance and Mattel Studios have reportedly released the official title logo for the live-action film adaptation of Mattel’s toy car line “Matchbox” which opens this Fall. Sam Hargrave (“Extraction”) directs.
John Cena, Jessica Biel, Sam Richardson, Teyonah Parris, Danai Gurira and Corey Stoll star in the film about a group of childhood friends who must work together to stop an impending worldwide disaster and rediscover their friendship along the way. [Source: X]
Untitled Navy SEAL Film
Kodi Smit-McPhee (“The Power of the Dog”), Aden Young (“Rectify”) and Sam Rechner (“The Fabelmans”) will join Alan Ritchson in the Patrick Hughes-directed untitled film at Amazon MGM Studios about former Navy SEAL Mike Thornton who earned the Congressional Medal of Honor. Joe Cole, Hoa Xuande, Brian Duong, Duy Nguyen and Kyle Allen co-star.
The true story tale is set in the final days of the Vietnam War and centers on Navy SEAL Thornton (Ritchson) as he leads a mission to rescue five men stuck behind enemy lines in North Vietnam – ending up swimming for hours through the South China Sea with two men strapped to him. [Source: THR]
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie
Following his debut in the trailer over the weekend, Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment have released a new promo video of Yoshi who makes his debut in the upcoming “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” opening around much of the world on April 1st.

I Love Boosters
The first poster is out for “Sorry to Bother You” and “I’m a Virgo” director Boots Riley’s new feature “I Love Boosters” which will release its first trailer tomorrow. Keke Palmer, Naomi Ackie, Taylour Paige, Poppy Liu, Elza Gonzalez, Lakeith Stanfield, Will Poulter, Don Cheadle and Demi Moore star in the film which opens May 22nd.
