
We got a brief look at his silhouette in the teaser, but now Jason Momoa’s appearance as Lobo in the upcoming “Supergirl” movie has been revealed.
Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Studios have released a brief clip of Momoa on set followed by a few seconds of footage of him in the film. That footage has also been worked into a new TV spot you can see below. There’s also a promo image out of Momoa in costume.
Australian actress Milly Alcock (“House of the Dragon”) takes on the role of Kara Zor-El/Supergirl in the film which is based on the “Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow” limited series comic by Tom King.
In the film, Supergirl (Alcock) travels across the galaxy to celebrate her 21st birthday with Krypto the Superdog. Along the way, she meets a young woman named Ruthye and winds up on a murderous quest for revenge.
Also starring are Eve Ridley as Ruthye Marye Knoll, Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem of the Yellow Hills, David Krumholtz as Zor-El, Emily Beecham as Alura In-Ze and Alice Hewkin as a Sklarian Raider.
Ana Nogueira penned the script while Craig Gillespie directs. The film is slated to release on June 26th 2026.
