
The 2026 Oscar nominations have just been announced this morning at the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater by hosts Danielle Brooks (“The Color Purple”) and Lewis Pullman (“Thunderbolts”).
“Sinners” led the pack with seventeen nominations followed by “One Battle After Another” with thirteen, followed by “Marty Supreme,” “Sentimental Value” and “Frankenstein” with nine; “Hamnet” with eight; “Train Dreams” with five; and “Bugonia,” “F1” and “The Secret Agent” snagged four each.
Welcome surprises included Delroy Lindo for “Sinners,” “F1” for a best film nomination, and big category noms for “The Secret Agent” and “Frankenstein”.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will hold this year’s Academy Awards on Sunday March 15th with Conan O’Brien once again hosting the ceremony following rave reviews for his hosting work last year.
The 2026 Oscars will be televised live in more than 225 countries, including ABC in the United States, and will be simultaneously live-streamed on Hulu.
