Iron Lung
YouTuber turned filmmaker Markiplier’s low-budget adaptation of the indie horror game “Iron Lung” is reportedly on track for a $9-10 million opening weekend at the end of the month.
The self-distributed title, which was filmed in spring 2023 over a span of just over a month, is booked to open on more than 2,500 screens in the US, along with hundreds more in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. [Source: X]
The Adventures of Cliff Booth
Jarred Land, president of RED digital cinema, has confirmed that filming has just wrapped on David Fincher’s “The Adventures of Cliff Booth” starring Brad Pitt – the shoot finishing around six months after it started back in July last year.
Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Barry Livingston, JB Tadena, Corey Fogelmanis, and Karren Karagulian co-star in the film which hasn’t set a release date as yet. [Source: Instagram]
The White Lotus
HBO’s “The White Lotus” is set to film its fourth season in France in a few months, and early casting has begun with two more joining Alexander Ludwig and AJ Michalka.
First up, British funny man Steve Coogan (“Night at the Museum,” “Philomena”) and Australian actor Caleb Jonte Edwards (“Black Snow”) are the latest to join the cast. Mike White, David Bernad and Mark Kamine executive produce. [Source: Variety]
