Scooper DanielRPK indicates Jim Carrey is in talks to return as Doctor Ivo ‘Eggman’ Robotnik in “Sonic the Hedgehog 4” at Paramount Pictures. Carrey said last year “if the content is interesting, I’ll come back…I love this crew, and it’s fun to make a movie with them.” The new film is rumored to be based on the “Sonic CD” game which involves time travel and an army of Metal Sonics. Wife and Dog
Guy Ritchie’s black comedy thriller “Wife & Dog,” starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Rosamund Pike, has set an October 23rd release date. Anthony Hopkins, Cosmo Jarvis, James Norton, Paddy Considine, and Pip Torrens co-star.

The Sun Also Rises
Oscar-nominee Vanessa Kirby will star in James Gray’s new film, an adaptation of Ernest Hemingway’s “The Sun Also Rises”. The story follows a group of American and British expatriates struggling with loss and disillusionment in Europe following World War I, specifically a journalist whose war injury has left him impotent, and his complicated romantic relationship with Lady Brett Ashley (Kirby). DC Studios co-chief James Gunn has shot down a number of DCU rumors in the past day or so. First up, he says reports that the Batman film “The Brave and the Bold” had finished its screenplay and set a 2028 release date window were “fiction” and that the script isn’t done yet, and no screen tests had occurred.
