Prime Video’s Cross is officially moving forward after wrapping its first season with both central mysteries resolved.

The crime drama earned an early Season 2 renewal in April 2024, months before its debut, signaling strong confidence in the adaptation of James Patterson’s bestselling Alex Cross novels. Aldis Hodge returns as Alex Cross, the homicide detective and forensic psychologist known for his ability to get inside the minds of killers.

Season 2 raises the stakes with a new case centered on a ruthless vigilante targeting corrupt billionaire magnates, pushing Cross into morally complex territory.

The upcoming season expands the cast with Wes Chatham, Matthew Lillard, and Jeanine Mason joining the series.

Created, written, and showrun by Ben Watkins, the show continues to ground its investigations in psychological tension and character-driven storytelling.

Cross Season 2 premieres February 11 on Prime Video, launching with its first three episodes and setting the stage for another intense chapter in Cross’s ongoing pursuit of justice.
