From the minute the first details dropped, Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die has seemed interesting. Now a second trailer has arrived, and our interest is further piqued.
From the director of The Ring and Pirates of the Caribbean, Gore Verbinski, the new sci-fi feature follows Sam Rockwell as a man claiming to be from the future who takes the patrons of an iconic Los Angeles diner hostage in search of unlikely recruits in a quest to save the world.
In something that seems increasingly prescient with each moment that passes, these days, he tells customers that he:
“…comes from a future which is totally, completely f*cked and I’m here to set it right.”
In order to save the future, they’ll have to trust a seemingly crazy man. Is everything as it seems?
Haley Lu Richardson, Michael Peña, Zazie Beetz, Asim Chandhry, Tom Taylor, and Juno Temple co-star. Matthew Robinson wrote the script. Verbinski produces alongside Robert Kulzer, Denise Chamian, Erwin Stoff, and Oly Obst.
Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die is in theaters on February 13th.
