A24 has premiered the official trailer for the horror thriller “Undertone” starring Nina Kiri (“The Handmaid’s Tale”).
Canadian filmmaker Ian Tuason penned and directed the film, which follows the host of a popular paranormal podcast who becomes haunted by terrifying recordings mysteriously sent her way.
Kiri will be the only cast member to be shown on-screen; the rest of the cast will just lend their voices.
Those voices include Kris Holden-Ried (“The Umbrella Academy”) as Justin, Michèle Duquet (“The Virgin Suicides”) as Mama, Keana Lyn Bastidas (“The Hardy Boys”) as Jessa, and Jeff Yung (“The Shrouds”) as Mike.
The film had its world premiere at the 2025 Fantasia Film Festival, with A24 acquiring the worldwide rights to the film through a competitive bidding war.
“Undertone” will open in cinemas on March 13th 2026.
