IT
Actor Finn Wolfhard has teased that there is more to do with his character Richie Tozier from the first “IT” film in the future, following a photo of his character appearing in the “IT: Welcome to Derry” finale. Speaking with Esquire, he says he was aware his face would appear long ago and teases more to come:
“I knew that years ago, actually. When they first started thinking about that show, it was probably 2021. Barbara and Andy Muschietti both told me, ‘You’re involved.’ Yeah, I’m connected. I think there’s something else that will come up eventually that I’m excited for people to see.”
Paul Mescal
British actor Paul Mescal, who has appeared across multiple films of late including “Gladiator II,” “The History of Sound” and “Hamnet,” says he’s ‘going away’ from screens for a while and audiences aren’t likely to see him again until 2028 when Sam Mendes’ four-film The Beatles movies hit cinemas. Man of Tomorrow
DC Studios co-chief James Gunn participated in a Variety Awards Circuit Podcast recently and confirmed he’d just flown in from Atlanta, where pre-production on his “Superman” follow-up, “Man of Tomorrow”, was underway. Asked if he could share anything about the film. He said:
“At its core, it’s about Clark and Lex. I relate to both of them. I relate to Lex’s ambition and obsession — minus the murder. And I relate to Superman’s belief in people, his Midwestern values. They’re two sides of me.”
