Spider-Man: Brand New Day
The poor quality bootleg leak of the rough cut of the first trailer for “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” didn’t lead to a good quality version of the clip going online.
In fact, scooper MyTimeToShineH is reporting that the first trailer isn’t expected to arrive until mid-to-late January now. Sony is opening “28 Years Later: The Bone Temple” on January 16th, which seems the most likely candidate.
GTA VI
Unsurprisingly, Rockstar Games’ “Grand Theft Auto VI” topped a poll at Insider Gaming of the most anticipated game of 2026 – taking a whopping 29.8% of the vote.
Tying for second were “Marvel’s Wolverine” and “The Witcher 4” with 18.2%, followed by “Resident Evil Requiem” and the “Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag” remake tying for third with 9.9%. “007: First Light,” “Phantom Blade Zero,” “Pokemon Pokopia,” “Saros” and “Fable” round out the Top Ten. Ark 2
Developer Studio Wildcard has confirmed that the sequel to 2017’s “Ark: Survival Evolved,” which was first announced with a trailer at the Game Awards in 2020, won’t be hitting stores until 2028 – five years after its planned original release. A major expansion of the first game called Legacy of Santiago is planned for the end of 2027. [Source: VGC]
Wicked: For Good
Universal Pictures has confirmed a December 30th digital premiere date for “Wicked: For Good,” the second part of the musical arriving on home platforms this coming Tuesday – 43 days after its theatrical run. A physical media release will follow on January 20th 2026.
The release will include a bunch of extras, including deleted scenes, a sing-along version, a nearly hour-long documentary, a commentary track from director Jon M. Chu and more. [Source: Universal Pictures]
