Following its debut in cinemas on Friday with “Avatar: Fire and Ash,” and a week after a poor quality bootleg ended up online, Marvel Studios has now officially premiered the first of several teaser trailers for “Avengers: Doomsday”.
This one puts the focus on Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers, who pulls up to an old-fashioned house and is seen holding a baby in his arms like a proud parent.
He’s playing Evans’ actual age, so not the ‘old man Steve’ we saw in ‘Endgame’ briefly, which indicates this is in the past.
The release suggests Marvel will potentially stick to this plan with new trailers hitting cinemas on Friday before going online the following Tuesday.
The second trailer is expected to feature Chris Hemsworth’s Thor. An apparent bootleg of that is already circling and confirming a recent description which includes scenes of Thor hugging his daughter and in a forest praying to his father.
“Avengers: Doomsday” is currently slated for release around one year from now.
