Monday Movie Memes…And Moan

Well, we are here, it’s the Monday of Christmas Week. The end of 2025 is nearly here, and thank goodness. This year has been one of the worst for movies ever, we have a Worst Movie of 2025 incoming.

On to Monday’s movie memes, we have some more for you today. Before that, though, it’s time for a Monday Moan. What did you see this weekend? I’m guessing some Christmas movies.

I watched, and I don’t know no way, but The Mummy (2017), the one with Tom Cruise. Talk about a pointless movie. Yes, I know they wanted to launch the Universal Dark Universe, but boy, did they get it wrong.

Firstly, did they think they could afford Cruise for a series of sequels? You also had Russell Crowe as Henry Jekyll, who played Jekyll & Hyde. I loved how he seemed to have to take the serum, to stop him turning, every 20 minutes.

I’ve only just remembered there is no hint of Dracula, or the Wolfman, or Frankenstein, let alone the others. We just had The Mummy and Jekyll, and then the movie flopped and no more Dark Universe. The only good thing about The Mummy was the totty.
