This is it, the last weekend before Christmas. This time next week, it will all be over. You’ll still be eating leftover turkey and dreading 2026 arriving.
We hope you have next week off, so you’ll need something to watch, not just over the weekend, but all of next week. So, here are some suggestions for you:
Sharing Aloha – Docu – About the Polynesian Centre in Hawaii, and interesting.
Him – Movie – A new horror, and underrated, it goes batshit crazy at the end.
Ballad of a Small Player – Movie – Good story, bad effects.
Full Metal Jacket – Movie – And still one of Kubrick’s best.
The Amityville Horror – Movie – The original movie, and not bad. Margot Kidder was hot in it.
Westworld – Movie – The original, because of seeing Brolin again, and still a great movie. Brynner is a wonderfully creepy bad guy.
Tron: Arse – Movie – Again, for the sake of it, still not impressed.
Thor: Ragnarok – Movie – Popped up on a list and tried it again. It is a good movie and set up for Infinity Wars.
Bring Her Back – Movie – This was Wrenage’s watch, and he rated it.
License to Kill – Movie – Dalton as Bond, and a really good Bond.
Predator 2 – Movie – Underrated, see our review.
Slumber Party Massacre – Movie – Aka Boobs: The Movie.
Jurassic World – Movie – Aka Jurassic Park 2.0.
Eraser – Movie – Arnie and cool guns.
Fawlty Towers – TV series – For the millionth time and still pure comedy gold.
That’ll do you for the weekend and next week.
Not forgetting that Avatar: Fire and Ash is out this weekend. If anyone is planning on seeing it, please let us know. If none of you lot see it, how come the movie will make $500,000,000,000 this opening weekend?
