By The first photos have been released of Charlize Theron and Taron Egerton in Baltasar Kormákur’s latest thriller “Apex” for Netflix.
Theron plays a rock climber and adrenaline junkie who finds out that nature isn’t the only dangerous element out to get her when she sets out on an expedition in the wilds of Australia.
Egerton will play a ruthless psychopath stalking his human prey (Theron) in a deadly game. Eric Bana also stars as Theron’s partner.
Jeremy Robbins wrote the script while Theron, Dawn Olmstead, Beth Kono, AJ Dix, Ian Bryce, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping and David Ready produce.
Kormákur is best known for his work on films like “2 Guns,” “Everest,” “Contraband” and “The Deep”.
“Apex” is set to release on Netflix on April 24th.
