By Sony Pictures has premiered the final trailer for the Jack Black and Paul Rudd-led “Anaconda”.
Black and Rudd star as Doug and Griff, two lifelong friends who have always dreamed of remaking their all-time favorite movie – the 1997 cult classic “Anaconda”.
The pair decide to do it, going to South America to shoot the film indie style with friends in two. But things get real when an actual giant anaconda appears, turning their comically chaotic movie set into a deadly situation.
The movie they’re dying to make? It might just get them killed. Also starring are Selton Mello as Santiago Braga, Daniela Melchior as Ana Almeida, Thandiwe Newton as Claire Simons, Steve Zahn as Kenny Trent, and Ione Skye as Malie McCallister. Ice Cube also appears as himself.
Tom Gormican (“The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent”) directs from a screenplay he co-wrote with Kevin Etten, while Brad Fuller and Andrew Form produce.
Sony Pictures will release the new “Anaconda” in cinemas on Christmas Day.
