A bootleg of the first of four “Avengers: Doomsday” ‘year to go’ teaser trailers has leaked online and the strategy that Marvel is employing has seemingly been revealed.
As previously reported, four teasers are being played in front of copies of “Avatar: Fire and Ash” with the teaser being played changing each week.
As earlier reports indicated, and now have subsequently confirmed, the trailers appear to involve short character-centric moments – each one focusing on a specific character.
MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD
The first, which is what will play from this Friday in cinemas with the new “Avatar,” sees Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers pulling up to a house and is then seen holding a baby in his arms.
END SPOILERS
The second reportedly sees Chris Hemsworth’s Thor in the woods praying to his late father Odin before a battle to bring him back safely to his daughter (this description is the most speculative part of the reports).
The third teaser will reportedly focus on on Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom. No details about that one have been revealed.
The fourth is the real mystery one – a potentially full-blown teaser trailer with various clips. Details of this are also unknown.
Marvel and Disney have made no indication if one or any of these trailers will be officially released online.
