You may or may not have heard of Steven Spielberg; he’s a movie director. Since he made some of the biggest movies of all time, I’m obviously joking. In the past, his movies have changed the course of cinema, from Jaws to Indiana Jones to Jurassic Park.
Spielberg’s newest movie wrapped filming this summer, and still, not much is known about it. A new poster has appeared in Times Square, but that’s not giving much away either.
Mysterious billboards for Steven Spielberg’s next film have been found in LA and Times Square.

What we can say is that the movie was written by David Koepp, based on a story by Spielberg. On the IMDb it is listed as The Dish, but there are no plot details.
The cast for The Dish is Josh O’Connor, Eve Hewson, Emily Blunt, Colin Firth, Colman Domingo, Wyatt Russell, and Henry Lloyd-Hughes. No one is given any names of characters yet, so again, no clues there.
Chances are there will be a teaser trailer out soon, possibly attached to the last big production from this year, Avatar: Fire and Ash. It’s been reported that Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey and Avengers: Doomsday will have teasers/trailers before Avatar.
Spielberg and John Williams have worked together since Sugarland Express, back in 1974. Williams had said he was going to retire, but he will be scoring a Spielberg movie, possibly one last time. He is 93 and looks very frail.
The Dish will be in cinemas on the 12th of June 2026.
