As we have said before, the reasons we started Last Movie Outpost were not to bask in the glory of tens of views on our articles, and drown in the non-stop flow of invitations to Hollywood parties we assumed would follow.

No, we did it primarily for two reasons:

1) To have an excuse to make Boba Phil watch as many terrible movies as possible while telling him it was for review purposes. Shhhh, don’t tell him!

2) To start a community, somewhere to hang out, for a certain type of superior online movie being that you, the Outposters, are.

A community that had been increasingly poorly served by certain other movie websites for many years.

So, like any good community, we celebrate the success of that community.

An Outposter has hit the big time, so we are going to share and also give them a shameless plug!

You may know DwC as a fellow Outposter down in the Disqus an occasional contributor through his Masterpiece Theater reviews.

His artwork has been selected to grace the cover of a literary anthology magazine, along with some additional artwork on the inner pages.

Lovecraftiana: the Magazine of Eldritch Horror is a quarterly publication available from Rogue Planet Press, with issues coming out April 30th, July 31st, October 31st, and January 31st.

It features short stories, poetry and artwork inspired by H. P. Lovecraft’s Cthulhu Mythos.

Along with the cover drawing, they published 5 of DWCs additional drawings inside the magazine. The titles of his pieces included in the magazine are:

Devil Reef (cover)
Beyond the Dying Sky
Old God
The Grey Peaks of Leng
In The Hall of The Yellow King
The Dim Chaos of Old Forest

“Where can we, fellow Outposters, purchase this sublime publication for our own enjoyment?” I hear you ask. Well, here is the Amazon link to get you started.

Why, if every single Outposter was to buy a copy then DwC would get (counts on fingers, brow creased with concentration) a whole $17 in royalties. That’s nearly the price of a McDonalds meal these days!
