We had the teaser for Predator: Badlands recently, and well, the reaction was mixed. Well, get ready for the trailer.

It’s not giving much away, but there’s a lot more to look at. Predator: Badlands stars Ellie Fanning and (copies and pastes) Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi. Dan Trachtenberg will be directing, after he directed Prey from 2022 and Predator: Killer of Killers from earlier this year.

The new trailer looks like emo Predator goes on the hunt and is helped by a girl with no legs. That’s a little unfair, the story is:

A young Predator outcast from his clan finds an unlikely ally on his journey in search of the ultimate adversary.

Those Predators do like a hunt. I used to chase butterflies in the garden with a fishing net, so I know exactly what it’s like. The hunting in this new movie looks exactly the same.

It looks like Weyland Industries will be making an entrance, too. There’s bound to be some tie-in with the Alien franchise.

We have a review of Predator: Killer of Killers, and Hawk gave it a generous 3.5 out of 5 stars. Personally, I liked it until the end, just went stupid. The Predators kept banging on about the ‘honour of the hunt’, then gave the humans an impossibly hard fight.

With Trachtenberg back directing Predator: Badlands, what’s your take on it? The movie will be in cinemas on the 7th of November.
