Tron: Ares follows a highly sophisticated program, Ares, who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings.
Oh wow…. a trailer…finally. I remember hearing about this movie for quite some time…. ever since 2010’s Tron: Legacy. While I did like Tron: Legacy, I don’t think a sequel was necessary. And yet, I would welcome such an idea. After years of waiting and rumors of trying to get the project off the ground, the long-awaited follow-up sequel to Tron: Legacy has arrived, with the official teaser trailer showcasing the first real look at the upcoming film. To its credit, the preview does certainly a grab the attention, viewing that people from “The Grid” are now in the real world and how the two worlds will collide in this latest installment. It still remains to be seeing how good the movie will actually be as the Tron franchise isn’t quite strong and I am aware that actor Jared Leto may not be the most ideal choice to lead a project like this. In the end, Tron: Ares definitely looks interesting, and I intrigued by it, yet I still have some reservations if this movie will be good or not. Only time will tell….
