A new assassin rises to the challenge as Lionsgate releases the second official trailer for their upcoming spin-off Ballerina of (From the World of John Wick: Ballerina). View trailer below.
Taking place between the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum (2019) and John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023), ballerina-assassin Eve Macarro begins to train in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma.
I was curious when a new trailer for this movie was going to be coming out. I’m glad that it did. From the footage showcased in the latest preview, it appears that the upcoming film is trying to capture that same type of cinematic magic as the mainline John Wick movies. And to its effect, it does. The trailer showcases plenty of action sequences and nuances that make a call back to the mainline series. Plus, it was cool to see Reeve’s John Wick in the movie and how it will face off against the main character. How will it turn out? Who can say….but you know it’s going to epic. All in all, I am quite excited to see what Ballerina has to offer to the John Wick film series.
Ballerina arrives in theaters on June 6th, 2025
