By Production on the second season of Marvel’s “Daredevil: Born Again” is currently underway in New York with actress Lili Taylor (“Manhunt,” “Outer Range”) announced today as joining the cast reports Deadline.
The actress is reportedly set to play a political foe for Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk, and joins fellow new to the series Matthew Lillard who has a recurring role.
More casting is expected to be announced in coming weeks as the next eight episodes of the series are filmed across the next few months. Other confirmed second season retunees include Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson and Jon Bernthal.
Meanwhile new set photos have emerged of Charlie Cox filming action scenes for the new season. The actor’s Matt Murdock sports a whole new black Daredevil outfit, complete with a red-lettered double D insignia on his chest which fans have long been asking for.
The all black outfit is expected to ties to the character trying to avoid attention as Mayor Fisk and his Anti-Vigilante Task Force are on the hunt for him.
Dario Scardapane returns as executive producer and showrunner for the second season which will air in 2026. The first season continues airing weekly and wraps its run on April 15th.
