The weekend is over and it’s Monday. Did you all have a good weekend? I didn’t, I spent it wracked with guilt about something I did. It ruined my weekend and I can only confess it now. I completely forgot to post the Something for the Weekend thread on Friday.
I’m so sorry, I cannot forgive myself. As penance, I will watch The Last Jedi and think about what I’ve done!
Did you see anything good over the weekend? Is there something still sitting with you this Monday morning? I’m guessing everyone avoided Cleaner and Snow White. If you were dragged to the cinema by kids or a friend who doesn’t like you, how was Snow White? Did it make you yearn for Monday?
I ended up watching all six of the Resident Evil movies. It’s not a good idea to watch them back-to-back, as they are all very, very similar. They all contain Milla Jojovich standing around, in leather, shooting guns in slow motion. I got the impression that Paul W. S. Anderson doesn’t like his wife very much. He shot her, blew her up, and basically humiliated her in every way. It was like she had a Monday every day.
I also watch Skyscraper (1996) with Anna Nicole Smith. It also starred Telly Savalas and Yul Brynner, who seemed to be stuffed down the front of Nicole Smith’s dress. She got naked three times in the movie. This made it infinitely better than Cleaner.
The good thing about Monday is Monday’s Movie Memes. Again, we’ve been over the internet and found the best of the best of the best to share with you. Remember to steal them and claim them as your own.
