By Lionsgate has released the official trailer for the Joe Carnahan-directed action thriller “Shadow Force” about a former special forces couple who become targets.
In the film, Kyrah and Isaac were once the leaders of a multinational special forces group called Shadow Force. They broke the rules by falling in love, and in order to protect their son, they go underground.
With a large bounty on their heads, and the vengeful Shadow Force hot on their trail, one family’s fight becomes all-out war.
The film stars Emmy winner Kerry Washington as Kyrah and Golden Globe nominee Omar Sy as Isaac along with Mark Strong, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Cliff “Method Man” Smith, Yoson An, Natalia Reyes and Sala Baker.
Carnahan directs and co-wrote the screenplay with Leon Chills. Washintgon, Stephen “Dr.” Love and Sterling K. Brown produce with Brown originally slated to also lead but ultimately opted out.
“Shadow Force” will arrive in cinemas on May 2nd – going up directly against Mavel Studios’ “Thunderbolts*”
