Hello to all you lovely Outposters. It’s Monday and it’s time for your Monday Movie Memes. We have been all over the net and collected the best of memes, including two that Woody Allen has written. They are all below, but first, for this Monday, let’s have a moan.
As always, we give you some suggestions for what to watch over the weekend. The biggest movie over this weekend was The Electric State on Netflix. The more I think about it, the more I didn’t like it.
I treated myself to the Captain America trilogy. You know how they only made 3 Captain America movies, then stopped and didn’t make anymore? Just the 3 of them and no movie. I say that because I have heard how bad Brave New World is, Yoda has already reviewed it, but I can’t wait to see it. I’m hoping it’ll be out on a Monday sooner or later.
It’s amazing the see the difference between The Winter Soldier and Civil War and The Electric State. It’s like comparing a wagyu steak, cooked medium rare, with steak cut chips and grilled to perfection onions with a leftover microwave burger. Sure, they are both food, but one you look forward to, the other you have to consume because there’s nothing else in the kitchen.
